All the experimenting with printing on muslin led to this very successful main piece. It is a combination of many solar plate etchings printed on muslin and other printmaking techniques. Each square was then chine-colléd to another piece of muslin.
Scrap of Memory • This is the first piece that I printed on muslin. I bought four yards of it at Joann’s Fabrics fairly cheaply. I also bought various kinds of interfacing materials and linen and experimented printing on them also.
